In The Queen's birthday honours list of June 2003 I was awarded an MBE by the Queen for my services to popular music. The investiture took place on Nov 27th 2003.





In May of 2004 I was presented with the Ivor Novello Award for outstanding contribution to British Music. I am very proud and honoured and would like to thank all my fans for the part they played in my long musical life which has led to these awards.
